I blink
And I can hear them
I close my eyes
And I can see them
I dream
And I can touch them

Though not at all
Because I blink
And they're gone
I open my eyes

I wake up
And they're gone

I love them
But I can't hold them

I look around and see
Two blue eyes
staring up at me
